Microreader™ Human DNA Quantification Kit

The detection limit is <1 pg/µL.

Obtain test result within 1 hour.

Able to detect human and advanced primate DNA.

Highly sensitive to mixed gender DNA samples.

Product features

Highly Sensitive Wide concentration range of the kit provides flexibility for higher concentration samples. DNA can be quantified at concentrations from 0.005 ng/µL to 50 ng/µL. The detection limit is <1 pg/µL. Highly Efficient The theoretical amplification time is minimized to 28 minutes, ensuring that the test results can be obtained within an hour by minimizing material consumption and simplifying the work flow. Highly Specific The kit can detect human and advanced primate DNA. Highly Precise The kit is highly sensitive to male DNA mixed with female DNA, the ratio of male to female DNA concentrations can be determined even at a male-to-female ratio of 1:4000 (or higher).

Product details

The Microreader™ Human DNA Quantification Kit ( MHQ ) is used to quantify the total amount of amplifiable human DNA and human male DNA in a sample to further assess whether there is sufficient amount of DNA for STR analysis. This kit is based on a fluorescence quantitative PCR platform and uses the Taqman probe method to perform real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR (qPCR for short) to quantify human DNA and human male DNA.

Application

-Determine whether human DNA is present in the sample. -Determine the concentration of human whole genome DNA in the sample. -Assess the degree of DNA degradation in the sample. -Determine the gender of the DNA in the sample. -Determine whether the sample is a mixed sample of male and female and the proportion. -Assess whether there are inhibitors in the sample. -Determine the amount of DNA sample for STR analysis, taking into account the extent of degradation and the presence of inhibitors.

Specification

The packaging specifications include 20 reactions/box, 100 reactions/box, and 400 reactions/box (the number of reactions includes reference samples).
