Microreader™ Blood card puncher is independently developed and designed by Microread and is mainly used for punching and sampling of paper carrier samples such as blood cards and saliva cards used in DNA database construction and case investigations.

The shell of the puncher is made of lightweight aluminum alloy, and the silicone rubber material is added to the hand-held part, which is corrosion-resistant, non- slip and fatigue-resistant, suitable for sampling of batch samples and suitable for building batch DNA databases

The shape design of the Puncher refers to the pipette, and the humanized design reduces the damage to the palm of the hand fdue to the long time holding; the Puncher can be placed on the pipette rack during leisure to prevent it from falling down and reducing accidents.

The Puncher head is made of special steel, which is sharp and wear-resistant, greatly increasing its service life; if damaged, multiple spares can be flexibly exchanged to reduce the cost of the punch. The Puncher head can be sterilized at 180°C to prevent cross-contamination.

1. Prepare sample card, such as blood card, saliva card, other common filter pape, FTA card etc.
2. Place the sample card on the pad.
3. Align the Puncher with the sample area at a right angle of 90 degrees and press down to sample.
4. Align the Puncher vertically to the microplate, sample tube, and PCR plate.
5. Press the tail button of the puncher to eject the sample paper.
