Product Details

MicroreaderTM Pigeon 20 ID profiling kit is used for detecting and identifying pigeon genetic relationships using short tandem repeat (STR) DNA loci. It can amplify a total of 19 microsatellites plus a sex loci in a single multiple PCR reaction, then detected and analyzed by capillary electrophoresis. Pigeon control DNA was supplied for verifying acceptable PCR and electrophoresis conditions. The kit has been optimized and is suitable for various extraction methods and instruments. The allele ladders which is essential for database construction is optional for purchase.
